The next addition to the ROG Flow family is the world’s most powerful gaming tablet. With serious gaming horsepower in a brand-new form factor, the ROG Flow Z13 combines the best aspects of tablet mobility with PC performance and versatility to create an all-new gaming experience. Designed from the ground up as a gaming tablet, this device supports touch input, a gamepad, or traditional mouse and keyboard, letting you choose the perfect way to play. And just like the Flow X13, the brand new Z13 is fully compatible with the XG Mobile ecosystem, allowing for one-cable pairing with a powerful GPU and I/O hub when you need an all-out gaming battlestation. 

As the world’s fastest gaming tablet, the Z13 has some unique design benefits over typical laptops. Inspired by the ROG Mothership, the Flow Z13 houses its components behind the screen, keeping those components away from your desk and granting them much better access to fresh air than they’d have in a traditional gaming laptop. In addition, the lack of a hinge mechanism allows for a wider vapor chamber and larger fans thanks to the extra space inside the chassis, all while keeping the machine just 12mm thick. 

The Flow Z13’s innovative chassis allows it to deliver much more performance than you might expect from a 13” tablet. Its unusual form factor let us use a dual-sided motherboard, with flexibility for larger-than-normal hardware components, like the voltage regulation modules. A CNC-milled window at the rear of the chassis allows a look straight into the Z13’s mainboard, and also gives the components beneath more freedom and height than traditional designs. All together, these design elements enable the Z13 to deliver the performance of a gaming PC in a device you can comfortably hold with one hand.

With a built-in kickstand that can be opened up to 170°, you can comfortably watch your favorite content anywhere. The integrated keyboard doubles as a screen protector, while still offering a deep 1.7mm key travel with N-key rollover to ensure precise commands at all times. A pair of USB Type-C ports and a USB Type-A port make it easy to connect wired mice or other peripherals, and Wi-Fi 6E support ensures a solid connection when it's paired with a Wi-Fi6E router, even in heavily congested networks. Weighing in at just 1.1kg, the Flow Z13 is the perfect traveling companion for a gamer on the go. 

Despite its compact chassis, the Flow Z13 is packed with serious gaming hardware. Boasting up to an Intel® Core™ i9-12900H processor, this machine is ready to tackle all the latest games and most demanding applications. Bucking normal tablet conventions, the Z13 also features up to a GeForce RTX™ 3050 Ti Laptop GPU. This dedicated chip drives much higher graphics performance than the typical integrated graphics found on a tablet, allowing you to enjoy PC-quality AAA games while out and about.

ROG is also pushing the envelope with its memory configuration. Up to 16GB of blazing fast LPDDR5-5200 RAM will make sure that the CPU stays fed with information at all times. Up to a 1TB SSD is available for longer term storage, with a UHS-II microSD card cleverly hidden underneath the kickstand for additional expansion.  

The free-standing design of the Flow Z13 does a lot of work to allow heat to rise naturally and exhaust from the chassis, letting you enjoy sustained gaming performance without undue noise or uncomfortable surface temperatures. But we didn’t stop there.  A custom, extra wide vapor chamber covers multiple heat sources including the CPU, GPU, and voltage regulation components. With up to 44% larger heat dissipation surface area and 50% better heat transfer efficiency than a standard heat pipe design, the Z13 never loses its cool. This Ambient Cooling solution allows the fans to turn off completely in the Silent operating mode, letting you concentrate on your work or enjoy a move with less distraction. If CPU or GPU temperatures increase, the fans will automatically switch on again. 

Further augmenting this robust solution is the inclusion of liquid metal thermal compound on the CPU. This high-efficiency thermal interface material can reduce CPU temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius compared to traditional thermal pastes, with the added benefit of not drying out over time. Years of stability and low temperatures await. 

The Flow Z13 reframes the definition of mobile gaming by combining the power of a PC and the portability of a tablet. With a touchscreen display that comes either in 4K 60Hz or 1080p 120Hz varieties, traditional mobile gaming via touch is a joy—especially with Pantone Validation and Dolby Vision HDR in tow. The immersive 16:10 display is responsive to touch input, and with up to a 500-nit peak brightness, it can be used in brightly lit rooms or even outdoors.  

For a more traditional experience, the included keyboard can be paired with a wired or wireless mouse for precise and accurate gaming. The Z13 was also designed for robust gamepad support. Pair up to four controllers, stand the Z13 on a table, and enjoy on-the-go split screen action with your friends. In case you need a second screen, one USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4 and one Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support keeps a multi-monitor setup just one cable away.
